Duliajan is an industrial city situated in the Dibrugarh district of the Indian state of Assam. Located in the upper north-east corner of India, the town is positioned approximately 45 km east of Dibrugarh City.
The city is primarily recognized for its extensive oil and gas industries. It serves as a hub for several major entities, including Oil India Limited, one of the largest oil and gas companies in the country. Other significant central government-owned companies operating in the area include B.C.P.L. GDU Station, N.E.E.P.C.O., D.N.P.L., and an LPG Plant.
Duliajan also hosts various private and state-owned industrial operations. These include the Shivani company, which is India's largest private drilling company, and Assam Gas Company Limited, a government-owned entity that manages natural gas business in India.
