Tuni is a town located in the Kakinada district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It serves as a significant border point for the district and functions as a major commercial marketing center for more than 200 surrounding villages.
The town is widely recognized as "Mango City" due to its extensive mango production, which includes nearly 250 varieties exported from the area. Additionally, Tuni is known for the production of betel leaves, jute bags, and various types of cashew nuts. Historically, it is notable as a place where freedom fighter Alluri Sitaramaraju studied.
