Singarayakonda

Singarayakonda is a town situated in the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It serves as the headquarters for the Singarayakonda mandal and is located at sea level under the Ongole Revenue division. The town is spread across 10 Grama panchayats and is positioned approximately 27 kilometers from the city of Ongole.

The town is situated on the NH-65 Highway and features a railway line connecting major cities including Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kerala, and Chennai. Due to this connectivity, it generates higher revenue than any other station on this South Central Railway line within the Prakasam district. Additionally, Singarayakonda serves as a primary transportation hub for surrounding villages located within a 15-kilometer radius.
