Pileru

Pileru is a town located in the Annamayya district of the Rayalaseema region in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It serves as the mandal headquarters for the Pileru mandal within the Pileru revenue division.

The name "Pileru" originates from the Telugu terms "Pilla Eru," which translates to a "small river stream." Geographically, the town is situated 197 kilometers northeast of Bangalore, 189 kilometers northwest of Chennai, and 464 kilometers south of Amaravati, the state capital.
