Hindupur, also known as Hindupuram, is the largest city in the Sri Sathya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It serves as the headquarters of the Hindupuram mandalam and functions as a Parliamentary Constituency within the newly formed district.
The city is situated near the border between the states of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. It is located approximately 619 km from Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, and 100 km from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka.
