Guntakal

Guntakal, natively known as Guntakallu, is a town located in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It serves as the headquarters for both the Guntakal mandal and the Guntakal revenue division.

The town is a significant railway hub, serving as the headquarters of the Guntakal Railway Division within the South Coast Railway (SCoR). The Guntakal Railway Station is a vital junction for freight transport, logistics, and express passenger trains. Additionally, the area is home to the Sri Nettikanti Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Kasapuram, a pilgrimage site known for its "one-eyed" deity.
