Giddaluru is a town located in the Markapuram district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It serves as the mandal headquarters for the Giddaluru mandal within the Markapur revenue division.
Historically, the town was part of the Kurnool district until 1969, at which point it was merged into the Prakasam district in 1970. Regarding its political boundaries, Giddaluru was situated under the Nandyal parliament segment until a delimitation process moved it to the Ongole MP segment.
