Amalapuram is a town located in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It serves as the district headquarters and the largest town within the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district.
The town functions as both the mandal headquarters for Amalapuram mandal and the divisional headquarters for the Amalapuram revenue division. Geographically, it is situated in the delta of Konaseema.
