Adoni, also known as Adavani, is a town located in the Kurnool district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It serves as a municipality and functions as the headquarters for both the Adoni Urban mandal and the Adoni Rural mandal, which are administered under the Adoni revenue division.
According to the 2011 census of India, the town had a population of 166,344. This figure made it the 16th most populous town in the state, with an urban agglomeration population totaling 184,625.
