Port Soderick is a small hamlet located to the south of Douglas, which serves as the capital of the Isle of Man. The area was historically recognized for its beach and its former reputation as a site for pleasure grounds.
In recent years, there have been various attempts to rejuvenate the area, though these efforts have remained unsuccessful to date. The hamlet continues to feature a station on the steam railway.
