Zalafa

Zalafa is an Arab village located in the Haifa District of Israel. It is situated within the Wadi Ara area of the northern Triangle, approximately 4 kilometres northeast of Umm al-Fahm.

The village is divided into three distinct neighborhoods: East, West, and al-Murtafi'a. Since 1996, Zalafa has served as the seat of the Ma'ale Iron local council, which holds jurisdiction over the area. As of mid-2016, the village had a population of 4,639 residents, all of whom are Muslim.
