Sumsum, also known by the names Simsim or Semsem, was a Palestinian village located in the Gaza Strip. It was situated approximately 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) northeast of the city of Gaza.
The village was depopulated and destroyed during the 1948 Palestine war. This occurred as part of the broader 1948 Palestinian expulsion, also known as the Nakba.
