Summil was a Palestinian Arab village located in the Gaza Subdistrict of Israel. Situated on a sandy hill within the coastal plain, the village was positioned approximately 36 kilometers (22 miles) northeast of Gaza.
In 1945, the village had a recorded population of 950 residents. Summil was depopulated during the events of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.
