Tirat Carmel, also known as Tirat HaCarmel, is a city located in the Haifa District of Israel. The modern city was established on the site of the Palestinian Arab village of al-Tira and was officially declared a city in 1992.
Historically, the site has been controlled by various groups over different eras, including the Romans, the Ottomans, and the British. As of 2024, the population of Tirat Carmel was 32,167.
