Tiberias

Tiberias is a city located on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee in northern Israel. As of 2024, the city has a population of 52,123.

Historically, Tiberias served as a major Jewish center during Late Antiquity. Since the 18th century, it has been recognized as one of Judaism's Four Holy Cities, alongside Jerusalem, Hebron, and Safed.
