Kiryat Gat, also spelled Qiryat Gat, is a city located in the Southern District of Israel. It is situated approximately 56 km south of Tel Aviv, 43 km north of Beersheba, and 68 km west-southwest of Jerusalem. As of 2024, the city has a population of 72,140.
The city is notable for hosting one of the world's most advanced semiconductor fabrication facilities. Specifically, it houses Intel's Fab 28 plant, which is capable of producing 7 nm process chips.
