Watch House Village is a small village located in County Wexford, Ireland. It serves as a twin village to Clonegal, which is situated in County Carlow on the opposite side of the River Derry. The river acts as the official county boundary between these two regions.
The area derives its name from a military guard hut constructed during the 1798 Rebellion. Nearby infrastructure includes Clonegall Bridge, which was built around 1780 to span the River Derry and connect the counties of Wexford and Carlow.
