Villierstown

Villierstown is a village located in west County Waterford, Ireland. It is situated on the banks of the River Blackwater.

The settlement was founded in the 1740s by a local landlord named John Villiers to serve as a base for the linen industry. The village was initially populated primarily from Lurgan. As of the 2016 census, Villierstown had a population of 276.
