Tallaght

Tallaght is a southwestern outer suburb located on the southside of Dublin, Ireland. It serves as the county town of South Dublin and is situated within the Leinster region.

The area has historical significance as the site of a monastic settlement dating back to at least the 8th century. During the medieval period, it developed into one of the more important monastic centers in Ireland.
