Saukorem is a coastal village situated in the Amberbaken subdistrict of the Tambrauw Regency in Southwest Papua, Indonesia. It is located on the northern coast of the Bird's Head Peninsula, approximately 125 km (75 mi) north-northwest of Manokwari.
The town serves as the principal settlement of the Amberbaken subdistrict. Its geographic position provides it with a coastal setting within the regional administrative boundaries of Southwest Papua.
