Aimas is a town (kelurahan) and an administrative district (distrik) located in Sorong Regency within the Indonesian province of Southwest Papua. It serves as the administrative capital of the Sorong Regency and is situated to the south of the city of Sorong.
The district covers a total area of 690.06 km2. According to census data, the population grew from 19,911 in 2010 to 42,014 in 2020, with an official estimate of 48,499 as of mid-2023. The town of Aimas specifically contains the administrative center for the district.
