Bintuni

Bintuni is a small town and administrative district located in the province of West Papua, Indonesia. It serves as the seat of the Teluk Bintuni Regency and is situated near the southeast coast of the Bird's Head Peninsula on Bintuni Bay.

The town consists of two villages which had a combined population of 22,757 inhabitants as of mid-2022. Transportation to the area is provided by Steenkool Airport. The broader district has seen significant growth, with its population increasing from 18,663 in 2010 to 34,192 by mid-2023.
