Pinrang is a city located in Indonesia that serves as the administrative capital of Pinrang Regency. The regency is situated in the northwest region of the South Sulawesi peninsula and encompasses a total land area of 1,896.57 km2.
The population of the regency has shown steady growth over recent decades, recorded at 351,161 during the 2010 Census and increasing to 403,994 by the 2020 Census. As of mid-2025, the official estimated population is 427,785.
