Larompong is a small town and kecamatan located in the southern part of the Luwu Regency in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is situated on the eastern coast of the province along the Gulf of Boni, positioned north by road from Pitumpanua.
The geography of the area is defined by the Sampano River, which flows through Larompong before entering the sea to the south of the town. The region is inhabited by the Wajo people, who speak a local dialect of the Wajo language.
