Bantaeng Regency is a regency located in the South Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. It is situated on the south coast of the southern peninsula of the island of Sulawesi. The administrative center of the regency is the town of Bantaeng.
The region covers a total area of 390.97 km2. According to census data, the population grew from 176,984 in 2010 to 196,716 in 2020, with an estimated population of 221,359 as of mid-2025.
