Karangtanjung is an administrative district (kecamatan) situated in the northeast corner of Pandeglang Regency within the Banten Province on the island of Java, Indonesia. The district covers a total land area of 19.07 km2 and serves as a local administrative division for the region.
The administrative center of Karangtanjung is located in Pagadungan kelurahan. According to census data, the population grew from 32,364 in 2010 to 37,315 in 2020, with an official estimate reaching 38,593 as of mid-2023.
