Langtang Lirung is a prominent mountain peak located in the Langtang Himal, which is a subrange of the Nepalese Himalayas. It is situated southwest of the Shishapangma, one of the world's eight-thousander peaks.
The mountain is recognized as the highest peak within the Langtang Himal range. It holds the rank of the 99th highest mountain in the world.
