Simpang

Indonesia

Simpang is a planning area located in the North Region of Singapore. The name "Simpang" is derived from the Malay word for junction or intersection. It is situated geographically north of Yishun, east of Sembawang, and west of Seletar.

The area includes Pulau Seletar within its planning boundaries. Historically, Jalan Kuala Simpang served as the primary road for the region. Several local landmarks retain the name of the area, including Sungei Simpang Kiri, Sungei Simpang Kanan, and the Simpang Kiri Park Connector.
