Serpong is a town and an administrative district (kecamatan) located in South Tangerang city within the Banten Province on the island of Java, Indonesia. It covers a total area of 28.27 km2 and is subdivided into nine kelurahan.
Historically, Serpong District was one of the districts belonging to Tangerang Regency before South Tangerang City achieved autonomous city status. The population grew from 137,212 in the 2010 Census to an official estimate of 163,451 as of mid-2023.
