Sariwangi

Indonesia

Sariwangi is a prominent Indonesian tea brand that is currently owned by Savoria. The name of the brand translates literally to "fragrant essence" in the Indonesian language.

The company is notable for being the first Indonesian tea brand to offer products packaged in bags, providing an alternative to the more traditional method of serving loose tea. This practical packaging format gained significant popularity among Indonesian consumers. Following its acquisition by Unilever in 1989, Sariwangi maintained its position as the largest tea brand in Indonesia.
