Salawu is an administrative district (kecamatan) located in the Tasikmalaya Regency of West Java Province, Indonesia. It is situated to the west of Tasikmalaya city and covers a total land area of 70.29 km2.
According to census data, the population of Salawu was 63,257 in 2020. As of mid-2024, the official population estimate for the district is 67,511.
