Pameungpeuk is an administrative district (kecamatan) situated in the southern part of the Garut Regency within the West Java Province of Indonesia. It is positioned approximately 86 kilometers south of the capital city of Garut Regency and roughly 131 kilometers by road south of Bandung.
The administrative center of the district is located in Mandalakasih Village. Pameungpeuk is recognized as the most developed district center within its specific region.
