Majalaya is an administrative district (Kecamatan) located in the Bandung Regency within the West Java Province of Indonesia. Situated southeast of the major city of Bandung, the area is characterized by a plain landscape with altitudes ranging between 500 meters and 1,800 meters above sea level.
Despite being located outside of the primary city limits, Majalaya is highly urbanized. As of 2025, the district has a population of 171,781 people, with an average population density of 7,116 per square kilometer.
