Karawang is the capital city of the Karawang Regency located in the province of West Java, Indonesia. It is situated approximately 32 miles east of the national capital, Jakarta.
According to the 2020 Census, the city had a population of 307,880 residents. The administrative area is divided into two districts: West Karawang and East Karawang.
