Dangur is one of the 20 districts, or woredas, located in the Benishangul-Gumuz Region of Ethiopia. It derives its name from the Dangur range of mountains, which extend southwest along the western side of Lake Tana.
The administrative center for the Dangur woreda is Manbuk. While some sources may associate the name with other regions, it is specifically identified as a district within the Ethiopian highlands and surrounding geography.
