Cibinong

Cibinong is a large town and an administrative district (kecamatan) located in the Bogor Regency of West Java Province, Indonesia. It serves as the administrative seat for the regency and is named after the Binong River. The district covers a land area of 44.27 km2 and its administrative headquarters are situated in the town of Cirimekar.

Geographically, Cibinong is positioned immediately south of the city of Depok, which lies just south of Jakarta. Both Depok and Cibinong are integrated into the Jakarta Metropolitan Area. As of mid-2024, the official population estimate for the district is 379,786 inhabitants.
