Ciawi

Ciawi is a town and administrative district located in the Bogor Regency of West Java, Indonesia. It is distinct from another area with the same name situated in the Tasikmalaya Regency. The town derives its name from the Awi River.

Geographically, Ciawi District borders the city of Bogor to its northwest and covers a total area of 25.53 km2. According to census data, the population grew from 102,994 in 2010 to 114,853 in 2020, with an official estimate of 122,271 as of mid-2024.
