Cianjur is a town and district located in the West Java province of Indonesia. It serves as the administrative seat of the Cianjur Regency and is situated along one of the primary roads connecting the cities of Jakarta and Bandung.
The population of the district grew from 158,125 in the 2010 Census to 173,265 in the 2020 Census, with an official estimate of 178,798 as of 2025. Due to its geographic position along the main transport route, a portion of the local population commutes to Bandung for employment.
