Caringin is a town and administrative district located in the Bogor Regency of West Java, Indonesia. It is situated just a few kilometers south of Bogor city. While it is part of Jakarta's larger conurbation, the district is frequently categorized as one of the outermost suburbs of the capital.
It should not be confused with another district of the same name located in the Sukabumi Regency. The area serves as a residential and administrative component of the broader metropolitan region surrounding Jakarta.
