Bekasi

Bekasi is a city located in the province of West Java, Indonesia. It serves as the largest city within the province and ranks as the third-largest city in the country. Geographically, it is situated on the eastern border of Jakarta and functions as a major commuter city within the larger Jakarta metropolitan area.

The city is bordered by Bekasi Regency to the north and east, Bogor Regency and Depok City to the south, and East Jakarta to the west. According to the 2020 Census by Statistics Indonesia (BPS), the population of Bekasi was 2,543,676, with a mid-2025 estimate of approximately 2,648,272 inhabitants.
