Jailolo

Jailolo is a stratovolcanic complex located on a peninsula situated west of Halmahera island in Indonesia. The geological structure features lava flows on its eastern flank and contains a small caldera positioned at the west and south-west sides of the mountain.

The area is characterized by hot springs along the north-west coast of the caldera. This volcanic island was formed by the Kailupa cone, which is located off the southern coast of the peninsula.
