Amahai is a village and an administrative district (kecamatan) located on the south coast of the island of Seram in Indonesia's Central Maluku Regency. The village serves as the administrative center for its namesake district and is situated to the south of Masohi town.
Both Amahai and Masohi are positioned along the coast of Elpaputih Bay and are bordered on their landward sides by the Amahai District. A notable geographic feature of the area is the Teon Nila Serua District, which exists as a semi-enclave surrounded by the Amahai District on all sides except for its western border.
The village maintains maritime connectivity through daily speedboat services that link it with Tulehu, which serves as the main port of Seram.
