Pangkalan Brandan, also known as Pangkalanberandan, is a port town located in the Langkat Regency of North Sumatra province, Indonesia. It is situated approximately forty miles northwest of Medan and lies near the provincial boundary with Aceh.
The area has an estimated population of 21,000 residents. As a coastal settlement, it serves as a point of maritime activity within the region.
