Kabanjahe is a town located in North Sumatra, Indonesia. It serves as the largest center within the Karo Regency and is situated approximately 90 minutes from the city of Medan. The town covers an area of 44.65 km2 and recorded a population of 73,581 during the 2020 Census.
Geographically, Kabanjahe is positioned to the south of Berastagi. It is connected to Berastagi by frequent bus services, with the journey between the two locations taking about 15 minutes.
