Belawan

Belawan is a city located in Indonesia, specifically situated on the northeast coast of Sumatra. It serves as the site of the Port of Belawan, which is recognized as Indonesia's busiest seaport outside of Java.

The area includes the Medan Belawan District, the northernmost administrative district of the city of Medan. This district covers an area of 33.27 km2 and serves as a primary maritime hub for the region.
