Mount Talang is an active stratovolcano located in the province of West Sumatra, Indonesia. The mountain reaches an elevation of 2,597 meters (8,520 feet) above sea level.
The volcano features two crater lakes situated on its flanks. The largest of these bodies of water is known as Lake Talang, which measures approximately 1 by 2 kilometers in width.
