Kolaka is a city and the principal town located in the Kolaka Regency of Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. It serves as the primary urban center for the surrounding regency area.
The regency covers a total land area of 2,960.73 km² (1,143.14 sq mi). According to census data, the population grew from 208,817 in 2010 to 237,587 in 2020, with an estimated population of 269,413 as of mid-2025.
