Donggala Regency is an administrative region located in the Central Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. It covers a total land area of 5,126.59 km² and is situated between 0° 30" north and 2°20" south latitude, and between 119° 45" east and 121° 45" east longitude.
The administrative capital of the regency is the town of Banawa. It is located approximately 34 kilometers (a 30-minute drive) northwest of Palu, which serves as the capital of Central Sulawesi Province. As of mid-2025, the official population estimate for Donggala Regency is 321,011.
