Waiwerang is a town located in the East Adonara District of the East Flores Regency on Adonara Island, Indonesia. It serves as the largest community on the island and is situated along the south coast, directly facing Lamakera across the Solor Strait.
The town features a central obelisk constructed between September 1960 and August 1961, which stands in a square adjacent to another area used for government and social events. While the kelurahan of Waiwerang had a population of 3,850 in mid-2023, it is part of a larger urban area of 16,234 people formed by its proximity to the neighboring villages of Lamahala Jaya, Terong, and Waiburak.
