The Waiha, also sometimes pronounced Veha, are a Seraiki-speaking Rajput tribe located in the province of Punjab. They trace their ancestral origins back to Jaisalmer.
According to tribal traditions, the group's history is linked to the 4th century of the Hijra. During this period, the Raja of Jaisalmer reportedly gave Rurar, known today as Tajgarh, in dower to his daughter Huran, and the location was subsequently named after her.
